The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms, but lacks privacy and can feel a bit like a dungeon. The location is excellent, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and the beautiful Kingston Foreshores. The service is friendly but varies in efficiency, while the dining options may leave you searching for alternatives.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were clean and near various amenities like restaurants, alcohol stores, and bakeries. However, they lack privacy and can give off a dungeon-like feel.
Service
6.0
The service was provided by young and somewhat inexperienced staff who were friendly but not fully attentive to guests' needs.
Location
9.0
The hotel is perfectly situated across from the lively Kingston shops and close to a variety of dining options and the scenic Kingston Foreshores.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was disappointing as the breakfast cafe was closed. Limited options were available, making it challenging to start the day with a satisfying meal.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offers access to commercial services and shops convenient for guests, but some aspects like the breakfast cafe may not meet expectations.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel in Kingston. The rooms were really clean and new, although quite small. The dining option in Kingston was excellent, but I missed having a coffee machine available.

Service
7.0
The service was a mix of experiences. They bumped me up to a queen room with a balcony and kitchen for free, which was great. However, I found the staff young and somewhat inexperienced, lacking in customer service skills. Nevertheless, they were helpful and polite.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic, especially for visiting attractions like the National Gallery, Portrait Gallery, and Questacon. It's also surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafes, perfect for both transport and shopping.
Dining

I found the cafe for breakfast closed, which was disappointing. However, the menus were very tasty for other meals.
Facilities

The hotel offers traditional bread, but missed having his mobile number available. Unfortunately, the coffee machine was also absent in the room.

7.0/10

The hotel had really comfortable and very clean rooms, but the compact size, especially the bathroom area, made me question the value for the high price I paid due to the music festival and cricket events in Canberra that weekend. The service was top-notch, with the staff being helpful, friendly, and even going above and beyond to make sure our stay was lovely. The location was great for its proximity to cafes, restaurants, and having food choices nearby, but the issue with privacy due to people being able to see in unless the curtains were closed affected natural ventilation. Unfortunately, the dining experience fell short as the breakfast cafe was closed, and communication regarding options was lacking. Despite these downsides, the hotel was in a convenient neighborhood and offered nice waterfront views with plenty of dining choices around.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were really comfortable and very clean, but on the small side, especially the bathroom.
Service
9.0
The staff were helpful, friendly, and excellent, even having their own mobile for easy communication.
Location
8.0
The location was fantastic, with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and a supermarket across the road, only a short walk to our destination.
Dining
5.0
Unfortunately, the breakfast cafe was closed, which was disappointing, and there was a lack of communication about the available onsite options.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel's facilities were satisfactory but could use improvement in the dining area.
